The 5% platform fee is charged on the grocery amount, regardless of the card used. That fee is typically charged to the client, but you can pay it yourself.

The CC Processing fee is 2.7% + $0.30, no matter the card used. However, when you use the Boss Card, 2.7% is charged on your earnings, but when you use your own Credit Card, 2.7% is charged on your earnings and your Credit Card transactions.

The example below shows the earning breakdown for an order using the Boss Card to purchase the groceries and the Business Owner paying the Processing Fee.

The figures in the green square are charged a 2.7% fee plus $0.30.

The example below shows the earning breakdown for an order in which the business owner uses personal funds to purchase the groceries and pays the Processing Fee.

The figures in the green square are charged a 2.7% fee plus $0.30.

All funds directly deposited into your bank account are charged a 2.7% fee. When you use your own funds for an order, the repayment is included in the direct deposit, and you are charged the 2.7% fee on the repayment.

While it may seem like there are more processing fees, the fee is actually the same; the only difference is that the amount the processing fee is applied to is higher since more money is processed out of our system.
