Setting Your Schedule in Dumpling Pay

Set your delivery schedule, time slots, closed days, and booking rules

Written by Renee

Dumpling Pay offers a lot of flexibility with scheduling. You can easily select to have your whole day open for deliveries, use booking rules to ensure time between orders, or allow customers to book time slots that work best for them.

Setting Your Schedule

To set your schedule, navigate to the menu in the Owner App and select "Schedule."

Booking Rules

To set your Booking Rules, tap the pencil icon and toggle "Same-day orders" to "on."

Select how far ahead you want clients to book their delivery. Selecting advance notice enables clients to place same-day orders while still giving you enough time to finish up anything you're in the middle of. You can choose one to four hours. After you've made your selection, tap "Save" to return to the previous page.

Set Your Weekly Availability

To set your weekly availability, tap the pencil icon to edit.

From there, you can tap the buttons next to the days of the week to turn those days on and off.

Add Time Slots

Tap on "Add time slots" to choose time slots to add to your schedule. When you do this, clients will be able to select a time when they book a day for their delivery.

Setting a Delivery Time for an Order

If you haven't set time slots, customers can only choose the day they need delivery. You will want to then pick a time that works best for you and your customer for that day. You can set the time by tapping "Set delivery time" and selecting a start and end time for the delivery window.

Closed Days

To set closed days, navigate to "Block Specific Dates" and tap the pencil icon. From there, select any days you want to have your schedule turned off. Days with a blue dot will be closed, and clients will not be able to place an order for those days. Press save to save your schedule and return to the previous page.
