Shopping multiple stores and how to charge your clients

One of the benefits of using Dumpling is the ability to shop at multiple stores to fulfill a customer's order! There are several ways business owners can accomplish this.

Scenario 1: You are shopping at Store A, but they don't have all the items so you need to stop at Store B to pick up a few things.

In this instance, you can finish your shopping at Store A, attach the receipt like usual, but do not charge your client yet. After you've finished shopping at Store B, go into the invoice again and attach the second transaction, then charge your client.

Scenario 2: Your client wants items from Store A and Store B. They've placed an order for each store, but you only want to charge one fee.

There are a couple of solutions for this situation and it comes down to personal preference. You can shop at Store A, attach the receipt, and charge your client. Then shop at Store B, attach the receipt, then use the adjustment feature to discount your fees and charge your client.

Alternatively, you can follow the steps in Scenario 1; shop at Store A, attach the receipt, shop at Store B and attach that receipt, then charge your client. You can then go into your open orders and cancel the second order. (note: canceling orders for multi-store orders will not affect your account!)

❗ Remember - All transactions must be attached individually ❗

How to attach several receipts to one order:

Navigate to the invoice and tap "Attach Receipt"

On the next screen, you will see all open transactions belonging to your account. Tap "attach" for the transaction you want to attach, and take or upload a photo of the receipt.

Tap on "Attach Receipt" again to attach the next transaction. Then tap "attach" for the remaining transaction(s) and take or upload a photo of the receipt for it.

Review the invoice and make sure that all of the transactions have been attached correctly before charging your client.
