As with any business, one of the most important things you can do is let people know about it. This helps you gain new clients and get your business out there. When first starting out it may be difficult to do, but in the long run it will be worth your time and effort. With Dumpling you are in control of building your clientele and marketing your business.
Some of the best ways to do this are;
Word of mouth - having friends and family share your business with those they know. Even if they wouldn’t use the service personally they may know someone that needs it or would want to use it. Referrals are your best friend.
Advertising on social media is another good way to market, you can even create business pages on Facebook or Instagram. You can learn more about creating a social media account for your business here.
You can also post in local Facebook groups that are in the areas you serve, however before posting to local groups do make sure to read the group rules and make sure they allow business postings as not all groups will allow it. You can learn more about Facebook groups here.
You can also go out into your community and pass out business cards, ask local businesses if you can leave cards or flyers at their establishment, and even reach out to local businesses in your area that don't have grocery delivery and see if they would be willing to work with you and refer their clients to you as a delivery option.
Consider making goals, such as; giving out at least 1 business card when you're in town.
